Artist, rapper, composer.

Embracing his classical music roots, Maffa channels both heartbreak and triumph that invoke names like The Kid LAROI and Childish Gambino. “Lunatic” is Maffa’s latest self-produced EP that exposes his unhinged alter ego, blunt and unfiltered, raw and unbothered.

As a signee to TRO ESSEX Music Group, Maffa was awarded the Emerging Artists Grant during his February Château d’Orquevaux International Artists and Writers residency in the countryside of France. Beforehand, Maffa composed music for commercials and advertisements after working alongside a talented team of musicians at Butter Music and Sound. He refined his craft at Crē•8 Music Academy, NYU Steinhardt, and the Royal Danish Academy of Music, and spreads awareness to the importance of building community through his music.

Maffa coaches tennis in NYC, studies hip-hop dance, and he is a proud alumnus of the tennis team at Brandeis University and a cappella groups at Skidmore College and Brandeis.
